Family and friends yesterday attended a memorial service for renowned photographer Lord Lichfield who died of a stroke in November.
Around 1,000 people gathered at Lichfield Cathedral near Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire, the photographer?s ancestral home.
Many local people were ?touched by Lord Lichfield?s great charm and character?, a spokesperson for the cathedral told BBC News.
Patrick Lichfield was the fifth Earl of Lichfield and a first cousin once removed from the Queen.
Born Thomas Patrick Anson, he photographed many famous subjects over a career spanning more than 40 years.
He was buried in the family vault at St Michael and All Angels Church in Colwich.
