Excited members of the British public could be among the first to see the newly-announced Canon EOS 5D Mark IV in action, as Park Cameras announce an exclusive event hosted by renowned wedding photographer Jeff Ascough.
Organised for Thursday September 1st at their Central London store, Jeff will be breaking down the hotly anticipated full-frame DSLR for the attendees and showing off its new features, including a 61-point AF system, 4K video and the ability to stay connected with Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity.
Jeff, who has been a Canon ambassador for a number of years, was one of the few photographers able to test out a pre-production model of the 5D Mark IV ahead of its official announcement. Additionally, there will be a Canon technical expert on hand at the event to assist him with any particularly technical questions from the audience about the new system, as well as Canon’s other lenses and accessories.
At the event, Park Cameras will have an EOS 5D Mark IV available so that visitors can get a feel of what the camera will be like before it is released for purchase (due to be mid-September 2016), making it one of the first times that the public will actually be able to get hands-on with the camera.
Aside from the attraction of the 5D Mark IV itself, there will be a number of exclusive Canon special offers to take advantage of, as well as the chance to enter competition with some rather impressive photographic prizes – including the chance to shoot air-to-air shots of a Spitfire.
Booking for this event is now open, though spaces are limited. For more information, visit www.parkcameras.com/events.
