A mock-up of new ‘high-end’ M Zuiko Digital single focal length lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras has gone on show at the CP+ imaging show in Japan.
Olympus says that the ‘concept’ lens is currently being developed for launch later this year.
A message alongside the mock-up, which is shown under glass, reads: ‘High-end single focal lens under development for the Pen series.’
No specifications have been released.
The Zuiko lens is on show alongside a Semi-Olympus II from 1938, one of the first cameras to feature a Zuiko lens and the first to come with an Olympus-made body.
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the Zuiko lens brand.
