The London Camera Exchange has announced a brand new, free-to-enter contest the Photographer of the Year Competition 2024. It offers £12,000 in prizes across 14 diverse categories, from abstract to wildlife, plus a ‘People’s Choice’ section.

Winners in each category will be presented with £500 in LCE vouchers and the overall winner will take home £5000 in LCE vouchers. All shortlisted photographers will have their images featured in an exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham and in a special commemorative book.

Amongst the judges are two AP contributors, journalist and SheClicks founder Angela Nicholson and street photographer Peter Dench alongside Chris George, content director at Future Publishing, and Nick Richens, chief executive at London Camera Exchange.

The competition is open to photographers aged 18 and over. Entries are open from 23 October 2023 until 24 January 2024 online or in-store across 26 locations across the UK.
