Canon has today announced the Canon PowerShot G12, a 10-million-pixel high-end compact.
The Canon PowerShot G12 boasts Canon?s HS System, which is designed to improve image quality at higher ISOs (expandable to ISO 12,800), HD movie recording (720 pixels) and Hybrid IS.
The Canon PowerShot G12 carries a 5x optical zoom, equating to 28mm at the wide end (in 35mm viewing angle terms).
It is due to go on sale next month priced £539.
