Canon has confirmed the UK prices and launch dates for the EOS 40D, EOS-1Ds Mark III and PowerShot G9 cameras which were announced earlier today.

The EOS 40D will be available from September, body only, costing £899.99 or with an EF-S 17-85mm IS USM lens, in a kit priced £1,199.99.

The EOS-1Ds Mark III will hit UK stores in October carrying a body only pricetag of £5,999.99.

While, the Canon PowerShot G9 is due out in September costing £429.
